Concept

Silicon Engines is often contacted by customers with a promising design concept to fit their target marketplace. The details are not yet worked out. There is a clear market opportunity, but the exact combination of product features, electronic technology, user interface, packaging, and price point still needs to be developed. They just don't know where to start.
We welcome the opportunity to start working with clients at the product concept phase. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not require the customer provide us with every detail before we start. Silicon Engines has been complimented by customers on our ability to collaborate on innovative products without requiring detailed specifications in advance.

Our role as a design engineering firm typically does not end when the design is complete. If needed, Silicon Engines can help you put our design into volume production.
We have designed, built and shipped hundreds of thousands of circuit boards for diverse market applications.
Silicon Engines provides a broad range of Engineering Design Services. We have many repeat customers who rely on us for quality, innovative designs, quick-turnarounds, and cost effective solutions.
Our development lab contains a comprehensive set of tools and equipment needed to build electronic prototypes and fully validate designs. Hardware tools include soldering and reflow equipment, AC/DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, RF spectrum analyzers, thermal chamber, and over 10,000 stocked electronic components.
Software tools include ICE and JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, development boards, and the latest compilers covering many semiconductor families.
