Silicon Engines is an established design engineering services company since 1989 specializing in embedded control applications for industrial electronics, data communications, medical electronics and other industries. We have an immediate need to fill this entry level position of Embedded Software Engineer.

 

• Should have 0 to 2 years of experience in real time embedded software development.

• Must have familiarity with 8, 16 or 32 bit Microcontrollers. ST Microelectronics and Microchip experience preferred.

• Should be familiar with analyzing software requirements, software debugging techniques, testing and documentation.

• Must have familiarity with electronic circuits, I/O schemes like UART, USB, I2C, SPI  and use of tools like Oscilloscope.

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Good at problem solving. Ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Energetic self-starter.

• Must have excellent organization and written and oral communication skills. Customer interface experience would be a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
