Silicon Engines is a full-service electronic design engineering company offering comprehensive electronic design, prototyping, testing, technical marketing, and manufacturing services.
Our principals and associates have been engaged professionally in the design and manufacture of custom products for commercial and industrial customers since 1975. Silicon Engines was incorporated in the state of Illinois in 1989.
Embedded Control
Silicon Engines specializes in embedded control applications, products in which a microcontroller and associated logic yield an automated product solution.
We work with tiny 8-bit processors in 6-pin surface mount packages, through 32-bit processors in packages with 144 pins. We design the hardware, write the microcontroller firmware, build prototypes, and help put products into volume production.
We also design power supplies, motor controls, analog circuits, and many other kinds of electronic circuitry.
